Like most people, I'm a lot of things. I'm a husband, father, veteran, corporate talent acquisition leader, coach, plant-based endurance athlete, climber, YADA, YADA, YADA.
My Endurance Background
I found my way into endurance sports around 25 years ago during my early years in the military and it has been a part of my life ever since.
I'm grateful to have experienced competing in a wide variety of endurance events from Ironman 140.6 & 70.3, olympic distance triathlon, marathons, ultramarathons, and adventure races of varying lengths. Each race is a unique journey that has taught me a lot about myself and helped develop my philosophy around coaching.
I have had the great fortune to work with several amazing coaches and have tried to integrate all the wonderful things they've taught me into my own coaching practice. Thanks Richard and Josh!
What I'm Not
This is an important one for me and should be for you.
I'm not the fastest, strongest, most experienced, most accomplished athlete or coach in the business.
I am, however, someone with a deep desire to help others along their journey to accomplishing their goals while honoring all the other things they have going on in their lives. I care about athletes as people first. I don't know any other way.
